Abstract
Dens in dente is an uncommon developmental tooth case called dens invaginatus or dilated odontoma, which originates through invagination of the enamel organ into the dental papilla, the most common tooth to occur dens in dente is maxillary lateral incisor. Dens in Dente is often accompanied by necrotic pulp and periapical lesion. Also, impacted teeth are one of the reasons for the odontogenic cysts and tumors. Dentigerous cyst one of the types of odontogenic cyst occurs in association with an unerupted tooth, most commonly mandibular third molars. Other common associations are with, maxillary canines, and mandibular second premolars. This report discusses dens in dente case in maxillary lateral incisor and impacted maxillary canine teeth with extended periodontitis and treatment it by combining with root canal treatment and surgical treatment.
